How It Works
1) Fill out an application online or download it and return by mail
2) Complete and return the questionnaire. When we receive an application, we mail the Parent/Guardian a confirmation letter and a questionnaire that is due two weeks after the letter is sent. Once we receive the returned questionnaire, the potential Little Sister will be officially enrolled in the program.
3) An Enrollment and Matching Specialist will contact you to schedule a home visit. At the home visit, the Enrollment and Matching Specialist will meet with the Parent/Guardian and the potential Little Sister to learn about her. This will enable us to choose a Big Sister who is the best fit for her personality, interests and needs.
4) Match. Once we select a Big Sister for the Little Sister, we will inform the Parent/Guardian about that Big Sister, so that we can make a final decision about the match. The initial meeting will take place in the family’s home. After the initial home visit, the match can embark on their newfound friendship.
