TEAM

TEAM stands for Team Enhanced Approach to Mentoring. It is a Group Mentoring program designed for girls in grades 6-9. Small groups of girls (Little Sisters) are matched with a handful of women (Big Sisters) in a group facilitated by a Big Sister social worker or Masters of Social Work level intern. This program ensures that the girls have multiple role models to interact with and learn from. The primary goal is to allow for open, but focused discussion about the issues girls are facing and to encourage healthy decision-making.

TEAM Big Sisters must be at least 18 years-old. We ask that Big Sisters commit to the entirety of the program, which runs approximately 22 weeks.
