First-time ticket buyer, Tara Reddington, was today’s grand prize winner of our 34th Annual Car Raffle! Though she has yet to decide if she’ll take the car or the cash, the win was especially meaningful for Tara. When a friend shared the raffle information with Tara, who says she “never wins anything,” Tara knew immediately that she had to enter this year’s raffle. Tara’s daughter passed away three years ago and her birthday was today. Her favorite color had been purple. When Tara saw that we were raffling off a purple car and the winner would be drawn on her daughter’s birthday, she asked for a sign…and today she got it.
