Chief Executive Officer, Deborah Re, has been selected as a recipient of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Pinnacle Award for Achievement in Management in the nonprofit sector. With this recognition Deb officially joins an esteemed group of women leaders throughout history who have made significant, positive impacts on the community of Boston and beyond.
Nominated by the late Mayor Tom Menino, this award not only recognizes Deb’s leadership as it relates to the growth and success of Big Sister and thus the impact on the girls we serve, but also the work that Deb has accomplished throughout her career, helping Boston’s young people reach their full potential.
As the charitable partner of the Chamber’s Women’s Network, Big Sister staff and volunteers have attended this event and applauded the achievements of influential and inspirational women for several years. We are thrilled to see and hear from Deb, on January 29, as she accepts this well-deserved honor.
