The Recipe For Inspiration At Our 2019 Celebrity Chef Dinner

Posted 06/03/2019

Add a dash of excitement and a healthy portion of delicious food and good company. Fold in a heaping spoonful of generosity from chefs, hosts, and just over 100 guests and you have the recipe for a successful Celebrity Chef Dinner. Last night we held our annual gastronomic gathering at Benedetto in Cambridge, hosted by owners Pam Ralston, and her husband, Chef Michael Pagliarini. By the end of the evening, guests invested more than $166,000 in our mentoring and enrichment programs for Greater Boston’s girls.

The evening was a culinary delight from start to finish, with freshly shucked oysters and caviar from Alexis Cervasio of East Boston Oysters on the sun-filled patio, a summery and fresh shrimp salad from Stefanie Bui of Chickadee, dreamy pillows of mezza luna pasta stuffed with potato and cheese from Michael Pagliarini, sumptuous duck with rhubarb from Colin Lynch of Bar Mezzana and Shore Leave, and every manner of sweet treat to cap off the meal from Renae Connolly of Benedetto and Joanne Chang of Flour.

We are grateful to East Boston Oysters, all the chefs, Foley Fish, Foraged and Found, and M.S. Walker, and our hosts Michael and Pam, as well as all our guests, for making the evening magical. Thank you for enabling us to make and support more meaningful, impactful Big and Little Sister relationships.
