Michelle Dixon joined Big Sister in 2022 as Chief Communications and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. Michelle has over 30 years of brand development, advertising, marketing and communications experience across agency, corporate and non-profit organizations, where she’s honed her skills in architecting brands by creating and telling compelling narratives to engage stakeholders and target audiences. Prior to joining Big Sister, she served as Program and Development Director for the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition where she was responsible for developing community education materials and programs about environmental health risks to reach diverse audiences, including women of color, youth, and the LGBTQ+ community. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, an M.B.A. and Entrepreneurial Management Certificate from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, and Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
