During the weeks leading up to Big in Boston on November 12, we will be recognizing our Big Igniters. These are women who are creating a better Boston for the next generation. Like Big Sister Boston, these women embody the vision of a community in which every child has access to the care and support they need to thrive.
Meet Luz Villar, the second of our Big Igniters to be recognized in the weeks leading up to Big in Boston on 11/12. Luz is igniting change through her work as a Neighborhood Liaison for Councilor At-Large Ayanna Pressley and as a Big Sister to Little Sister Natalia for more than two years. When she is not advocating on behalf of women and girls or out having fun with her Little Sister, Luz is working towards her bachelor’s degree in business management from Cambridge College.
